    At Portland Schooner Co., we love the sea and the sleek
    wooden schooners that still sail it proudly. And we love the
    opportunity to share this passion with our guests.

    Come aboard the schooners Bagheera or Wendameen for an
    exciting sailing adventure from Portland Harbor through
    sparkling Casco Bay... a leisurely two-hour sailā?¦ a romantic
    wedding at sea... or an adventurous overnight excursion on
    Wendameen. We invite you to participate in sailing one of
    our classic windjammers ā?? or just relax and soak up the sun
    and salt air.

    Bagheera and Wendameen represent a time when classical
    tastes produced some of the finest vessels in the history of
    yachting and yacht racing. Each boat was designed by the
    preeminent yacht designer, John G. Alden. Wendameen was
    Aldenā??s first schooner design, built in 1912 by some of the
    finest craftsman in the world in East Boothbay, Maine.
    Wendameen is listed on the National Register of Historic
    Places. Bagheera was built in East Boothbay in 1924 and is also listed on the Register as well.
